I’m a process-based photographer working in the margins…
I collect pictures of things – I like patterns, textures, anything that plays with the eye, the heart, the mind. The things, their colors, shapes & how I control their representation – with chemicals, emulsion, editing software, printer, etc – creates moods, meanings, feeling & anything beyond rote representation of what the image is of.
My work is process-driven. I love most the surprise, unpredictability. In this my content is the medium itself. The visual is just an entry point.
