The cinnabar moth (Tyria jacobaea) is a French import brought to the Willamette Valley (Kalapuya land) to control the invasive weed tansy ragwort (Senecio jacobaea). The work of Dr. Peter B. These images are constructed of multiple layers to reflect the subtle changes that lead to evolution of species as well as to encourage viewers to interact with the images, shedding light on peoples’ role in selective pressures, such as climate change, that drive evolutionary change.
